Made me miss All I Need by Air. An innovative music video that combines the song with a documentary of a real couple who hang out a skatepark. Everything becomes more poignant by the co-mingling; the empty parking garages; the easy drift of the skaters in the California sun; when you have characters whose feelings and dreams give that meaning and context; suddenly you’ve got a real story. And a sweet meditation on love. Always thought this was ahead of the curve and was surprised that more people didn’t take it up as a style of storytelling, particularly now that we’ve got youtube and such to get it out to people.
